About Us

Who we are, where we come from, and where we're headed as a church family

Who we are

FBC Hinton cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. FBC is a family of individuals that have found life in Jesus, and simply want to spread that same life to others.

Where we come from

FBC Hinton was started in 1902 by Rev. C.W. Morrison, having it's first service in a barn on the W.B. Atcheson farm in Hinton, OK. Since then, the church has been sustained by the Lord, through faithful leaders and members.

FBC is open to anyone and everyone, no matter one's background. We look to serve God and in doing so, be a light to those in need of Jesus.

Where we're headed

FBC is committed to fostering a family built on Christ. We're here to partner with each other in taking on The Great Commission that Jesus has given us. We are here to extend the good news of Jesus to anyone around us.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

(Matthew 28:19-20)
